Supporting and connecting our community.

The Griffith Community Centre is:
  • a non government organisation and registered charity (https://www.acnc.gov.au/).
  • managed by a volunteer committee of residents who give their time to ensure the Centre is meeting the needs of the local community.
  • assisted by a pool of volunteers who generously support the Centre in a range of ways from cooking meals that are available for people in times of hardship, assisting with administration duties and social engagement activities like book clubs, cooking classes, art activities etc.
Our income is from many different streams. Mainly from:
  • the Department of Communities & Justice
  • community donations and fundraising
  • room hire and office lease and
  • grant opportunities.
Access to free Wi-Fi and a quiet space to sit or work. Room Hire – for meetings, workshops, support groups etc – will email photos Office Lease – rooms available for lease at various  times  Commercial kitchen / café – available for training sessions  Support groups 
  • Drug Information Family Support (DIFS) – Mondays at 5.00pm
  • Narcotics Anonymous (NAs) Wednesday evenings at 7.30pm
  • Alcoholics Anonymous (AAs) Thursday evenings at 8 pm
