Griffith Carevan - (02) 6962 4144 or 0412 373 019

Griffith Carevan is a mobile food van addressing the need to assist local individuals and families who are struggling, or facing hardship, due to poverty, food insecurity, social isolation, and homelessness.

Carevan provides weekly hot, nutritious meals served by our friendly teams of volunteers at two alternate locations: Dave Taylor Park and Parkinson Crescent. Anyone is welcome to come and share a meal at the Griffith Carevan.  Additional support is provided through the community setting, to help people feel connected, valued and respected.

Please follow Griffith Community Centre on Facebook to receive weekly updates on Carevan location and times.

Volunteers run the Carevan every Wednesday alternating between two locations; Thomas Place, Dave Taylor Park and Parkinson Crescent, Griffith NSW. Griffith Carevan is free and accessible to all.

A hot meal, activities, reading for the children and additional support is provided in a non-judgemental manner. Anyone is welcome to share a meal at Griffith Carevan. If you would like to attend on the night, come around 5.30-5.45 pm.

If you would like to help out and volunteer once a month for 2.5 – 3 hours, click here: Volunteer Enquiry Form
