Griffith CDAT meets at the Griffith Community Centre on the 2nd Monday of the month at 12:30 PM. The members organise local activities to address local alcohol and other drug concerns. These can include information and awareness sessions, youth activities and guest speakers.

    Meet at the Griffith Community Centre 1 Olympics every Thursday evening at 8pm and Saturday morning at 9am
    AA connects people to share experiences, grow strength and hope to solve problems from alcoholism, The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking, AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organisation or institution. AA’s primary purpose is to stay sobber and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.

    Meet at the Griffith Community Centre – 1 Olympic Street every Wednesday evening at 8pm
    If you think you might have a drug problem and want to stop using, we can help. Narcotics Anonymous is a non-profit fellowship or society of men and women for whom drugs have become a major problem. We are recovering addicts who meet regularly to help each other stay clean, We have found through our group experience that the therapeutic value of one addict helping another is without parallel.

    A Self Management and Recovery Training is a self help group that assists you recover from all addictive behaviours including alcohol & drugs, gambling, food, shopping etc. SMART Recovery teaches practical skills to help you deal with your problems enabling you to abstain and achieve a healthy lifestyle balance.
  • Drug Information & Family Support (DIFS)
    Meet at the Griffith Community Centre – 1 Olympic Street Monday at 5pm
    DIFS is a local support group for parents, partners and friends of those with an addiction. The peer support group is a place to share stories, seek advice and information and develop a support network to assist people caring for someone they love who is impacted by addiction.

Counselling and case management are available for people wanting to stop or reduce their methamphetamine or other use. A case manager will work closely with other services when required – advocacy and support to address housing, relationships, education, employment, child protection, legal and financial issues as well as health concerns.

    Located at 127 Yambil Street. The Griffith Specialist Mental Health Drug and Alcohol Service provides assessment, support and treatment for people with drug and alcohol dependency. We provide a service to people living within the Griffith Catchment (including Leeton, Narrandera, Barellan, Coleambally, Hillston and Lake Cargelligo between the hours of 8.30 am to 5pm weekdays).
    We help children and young people, adults and older people. We work closely with local GPs, community organisations and other health and social services to support you to improve and maintain your health.
