A Radiation Oncologist from the Riverina Cancer Care Centre travels to Griffith on a fortnightly basis providing specialist Radiation Oncology consultation services at the Griffith Base Hospital. This service eliminates the need for cancer patients to travel to Wagga Wagga for this service. Should a patient require Radiation Therapy treatment this will be coordinated and facilitated through the Riverina Cancer Care Centre in Wagga Wagga.
